Expanded confiscation has stood out as a crucial legal measure in combating financial crimes and corruption internationally. However, their effectiveness varies significantly between different countries. In this context, this work proposes a comparative analysis of extended confiscation laws in different countries. The theoretical framework reviews the existing literature on expanded confiscation, exploring its legal bases, objectives and foundations. Comparative analysis involves detailed study of expanded confiscation laws in selected countries. The methodology adopted is qualitative, using bibliographic and documentary research to review the literature and comparative analysis of extended confiscation laws. Possible interviews with experts and legal professionals in each country studied can enrich the research, providing additional insights into the implementation of the measures. The conclusion summarizes the main findings of the comparative analysis, highlighting similarities, differences and common challenges encountered in the implementation of expanded confiscation laws. Recommendations are presented to improve public policies and legislation, aiming to strengthen the fight against corruption and financial crimes on a global scale.
