This study reviews the role of computed tomography (CT) in the early detection of lung cancer, highlighting its importance in improving survival rates. Analysis of 7 selected articles demonstrates that CT, especially when combined with advanced methods such as [18F] FDG-PET/CT and artificial intelligence, is effective in identifying early lung lesions. Alternative PET tracers also show potential in early detection. It is concluded that CT is essential for the early diagnosis of lung cancer, and more research is needed to validate these technologies.
