Introduction: Premature ejaculation (PE) is a common male sexual dysfunction that significantly affects individuals' quality of life and emotional well-being. Objective: To highlight the effects of pelvic physiotherapy in the treatment of PE, emphasizing its efficacy, mechanisms of action, and therapeutic potential. Materials and Methods: This study adopted a qualitative approach based on literature research from electronic databases such as PubMed, Scielo, and Google Scholar using filters for English, Portuguese, and Spanish publications in the last 10 years. Result: The results indicate that pelvic physiotherapy can lead to improvements in quality of life and sexual well-being. All analyzed studies yielded positive results and underscore the importance of pelvic physiotherapy as a promising and complementary therapeutic option for patients with PE. Further research is needed to fully elucidate its efficacy and mechanisms of action. Conclusion: The literature review shows that pelvic physiotherapy, employing techniques such as biofeedback, pelvic exercises, and electrostimulation, enhances pelvic floor muscle function and ejaculatory control in patients with premature ejaculation (PE). Many patients reported being cured of PE and experiencing an improved quality of life. The customization of treatments and the absence of significant side effects make pelvic physiotherapy a promising alternative to conventional pharmacological treatments.
