NURSE ACTIONS IN PROMOTING WORKERS’ HEALTH IN THE HOSPITAL CONTEXT

In the hospital environment, health professionals are exposed to occupational risks, which are relevant as health promotion actions. Thus, the present study aimed to carry out a bibliographical review on nurse actions in promoting workers’ health in the hospital context. Methodology: Data collection took place between April 2024, in the Virtual Health Library (VHL) in the databases of Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO), Nursing database (BDENF). As literature selection criteria, the following were selected: nursing actions in promoting the health of health professionals in the hospital context; the Portuguese language; and articles published in the last five years. Results and Discussions: The following actions were highlighted: telephone calls and messages via communication application; art therapy workshop; creation of a “wellness room”; educational game, auriculotherapy, relaxing massage, chromotherapy, aromatherapy and music therapy, dialogued exhibition, reproduction of music on the sound system, display of posters, dialogued exhibition on mental health care. Conclusion: The interventions described expand knowledge about health promotion actions in hospitals, and the obligations that even in adverse situations it is possible to create conditions to improve the health of professionals, thus affecting the quality of care provided to patients.
