SISTEBIB/UFAM PERFORMING DURING THE 2020/2021 PANDEMIC PERIOD: AN EXPERIENCE REPORT

Abstract

This article, in the form of an experience report, aims to present the results obtained during the Covid19 pandemic at SISTEBIB/UFAM, in which libraries worked remotely. Libraries are constantly searching for new technologies to provide their services. In this sense, the pandemic caused by Covid 19 accelerated the process of using these technologies. The objective of this article is to verify the possibility of adopting teleworking in the UFAM Library System. It should be noted that the SISTEBIB/UFAM teleworking system was guided by federal government legislation that adopted teleworking on an extraordinary basis. The methodology used was the quantitative-qualitative approach, of an exploratory and descriptive nature, using documentary research as the research technique. The research results indicate that the trend in service provision is towards digital form. The contribution of this work lies in the opportunity to suggest the adoption of teleworking in SISTEBIB/UFAM.
