This study focused on the problem of integrating gamification and hybrid teaching strategies in public high schools, with the aim of improving the quality of education. The general objective of the research was to analyze the impact of these pedagogical innovations on student learning and identify the main facilitators and obstacles to their effective implementation. A methodology consisting of a literature review and analysis of feedback from teachers and students from institutions that have already implemented such approaches was used. The results obtained indicated that, despite the perceived benefits in terms of increased student engagement and motivation, there are significant challenges. These include resistance on the part of some educators to the adoption of new technologies and pedagogical methods, as well as limitations related to the technological infrastructure available in institutions. The final considerations highlighted that the effectiveness of gamification and hybrid teaching is conditioned on careful implementation, which must be accompanied by continuous support for the professional development of teachers and a solid commitment on the part of school management. It was concluded that these pedagogical strategies, if well implemented and supported, have the potential to significantly enrich the educational experience, although they require regular adjustments and institutional support to overcome the operational and cultural challenges that emerge in the process.
