Abstract

The development of regional anesthesia protocols is crucial to minimize risks and optimize perioperative results. This study reviews the main aspects related to the implementation of these protocols, highlighting the importance of an individualized and multidisciplinary approach. Regional anesthesia has been shown to be a valuable tool for providing effective and safe analgesia, reducing complications related to pain and the administration of systemic analgesics. Customizing protocols, taking into account the individual characteristics of patients, is essential to guarantee satisfactory perioperative results. Collaboration between anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals is critical to developing comprehensive, up-to-date guidelines. Continuous education and training of professionals is necessary to ensure accurate administration of local anesthetics and reduce the risk of complications. Continuous research is essential to advance the field of regional anesthesia and ensure the delivery of the best care to patients through the development of new techniques and approaches.
