The maternal health of black women in the Brazilian context is an issue of extreme importance and social relevance, due to the disparities and inequalities that directly impact the experience of these women during the gestational, childbirth and postpartum period. This article aims to investigate nursing care focused on the maternal health of black women, with the aim of identifying effective practices and gaps in the care provided to this specific population. Qualitative research is the methodology chosen, allowing a deep immersion in the nuances and subjectivities present in the maternal journey of black women, from prenatal care to postpartum. The systematic bibliographic review will explore nursing practices with a focus on prenatal care, birth preparation, follow-up during labor and delivery, as well as post-partum support, seeking to build a more fair and equitable health care for these women. The research sought to fill gaps in knowledge by promoting an in-depth understanding of nursing practices that positively impact the maternal health of black women, aimed at promoting the well-being and quality of life of that population.
