The focus of this study is to examine the victimization experienced by military police officers who face various risks, as well as the factors that contribute to violence against individuals in this profession. It is essential to analyze the specific characteristics of this type of violence and the contextual factors that make these agents vulnerable. To achieve this objective, the research adopted an exploratory approach, carrying out a thorough review of relevant literature and documentary sources. Understanding the factors that induce relevance is emphasized by the qualitative nature of the study. It was observed that military police officers can become targets of violent crimes. To reduce the likelihood of victimization, proactive measures, such as timely identification, assessment and intervention, are needed to prevent fatal acts of violence against these law enforcement officers.
