Currently the concept of sepsis corresponds to a deregulated response of the body to an infection. Being evident that the nurse as well as the multidisciplinary team know the pathophysiology of the disease and its possible developments to recognize and serve quickly and safely the patient with sepsis, preventing sequelae and increasing survival and in the process of clinical repercussions. Thus highlighting the importance of investment in training and qualification of the multidisciplinary team for a better perception of the signs of sepsis and the search for reversal of the picture effectively and quickly.
