INTERNSHIP REPORT IN PSYCHOLOGY WITH THE THEME OF PSYCHOLOGICAL SCREENING CARRIED OUT AT AN EDUCATIONAL CENTER IN THE CITY OF CURITIBA, PARANÁ

Abstract

The objective of this article is to report on an internship experience in Psychology regarding patient screening, in an Educational Center located in the city of Curitiba, Paraná. 11 screenings were carried out with the aim of referring patients for care at the School clinic, by students from the 8th to the 10th period, experiencing their first contact with the public and training in the screening field. The main demands are related to anxiety and depression that affect the current population. The screenings are of great value for the learning of Psychology students, given that they are training for the psychotherapeutic services that will come sequentially in the Psychology course.
