The distalization of lower molars is very effective in gaining space for crowding correction and dental class in compensatory treatment. The Jones Jig appliance was developed for distalization of upper molars, it is intraoral and has as main drawback the lack of rotational control distalized tooth. This study aims to report a case in which the Jones Jig appliance has been modified for use in the lower arch to distalize molar. Associating this with a temporary anchorage device (TAD) increases the dimensional control of tooth, discarding any unwanted tilt. The modification of the Jones Jig appliance to the lower molar distalization associated with TAD was quite effective and without any side effect. It is noteworthy that more studies are indicated for greater background knowledge and safety of this practice.
