This article presents a case study, referring to the change in one of the processes of a chemical industry located in the State of São Paulo, in which a change in the positioning of the manometer and the pressure taking line was implemented with the addition of a trumpet siphon in a pressure vessel, in order to eliminate the interference of condensate in the pressure tap line. Given this change, comparative analyzes of the scenario before and after the modification were carried out. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the efficiency of changing the position of the instrument related to the shorter cooking time of the products. To achieve the objective of this article, bibliographical research was used in scientific articles to cover knowledge related to the topic, qualitative analysis to conclude the effectiveness of implementing the change and graphic evaluations of the results obtained. In short, it was found that there was an improvement in heating time and constant temperature in the boiling stage.
