This article aims to investigate the ways in which incarcerated women establish affective relationships with each other, with educators and with other members of the prison environment, and how these affective dynamics affect their experience of incarceration. To this end, we sought to understand the importance of affection in female prison relationships and how the development of human bonds can contribute to the resocialization of incarcerated women. The methodology adopted for this research was that of the academic essay, which consisted of an analysis and critical synthesis of bibliographic studies on the topic. Therefore, the concepts of affectivity, interpersonal relationships and female incarceration were explored, the ways in which incarcerated women establish emotional connections among themselves, with educators and with other members, seeking to understand how they seek support, solidarity and belonging within the prison environment. . This study also investigates how these interactions can influence the experience of incarcerated women within prison and the resocialization process. Finally, it is hoped that this study will contribute to understanding and improving the living conditions of incarcerated women, promoting a more effective and humane resocialization.
