The mortality rate of micro and small companies is a considerable aspect for rethinking an organization's strategic planning and its survival rate. The Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service - Sebrae - provides us with statistics that give us clues as to what the Brazilian scenario is like and what factors can contribute to or create challenges for the vitality or mortality of these companies. We understand that Corporate Education is one of the possibilities that can greatly contribute to business development. This article seeks to describe the success story of WN Tellecom, an internet provider in the municipality of Itabuna-Bahia-Brazil. We sought to analyze the limitations and potentialities that can be identified as structuring aspects in the company's trajectory, discuss its consolidation in the market over 10 (ten) years of existence and reflect on how Corporate Education can collaborate with this successful trajectory. This is a qualitative, analytical-descriptive study. The methodological technique adopted to produce the data and information was the application of 09 (nine) structured questions via Google Forms to the company's manager and owner, as well as document analysis. The analysis and discussion were qualitative. The data revealed some of the challenges faced by the company at the beginning of its operations: lack of financial resources; small number and insufficient qualifications of employees; lack of adequate infrastructure; need to improve the quality of the internet; lack of some trained professionals in specific areas, such as the People Manager. The results also pointed to the following as potentialities developed over time: the manager/owner's expertise in the internet provider business and his higher education qualifications; employee commitment; investment in infrastructure, expansion and qualification of the employee team through Corporate Education involving the development of Training and Work Safety Programs; hiring experienced professionals with know-how in specific areas such as electrical and safety engineering, administration, law, accounting, information technology, among others. In view of the above, we can see that WN Tellecom, despite all the adversities, is maintaining and expanding its products and services and is increasingly consolidating its position as one of the best internet providers in the Southern Bahia region.
