Quality of life in older adults is closely linked to nutrition, which is essential for their physical and mental well-being. Understanding this relationship is important for developing strategies to promote healthy aging. This study aims to analyze the relationship between nutrition and quality of life in older adults, exploring factors that influence their well-being. Through a comprehensive literature review, renowned databases such as PubMed, Scopus, SciELO, and BDTD are consulted, using specific keywords such as "nutrition in older adults" and "quality of life of the elderly". The results highlight the relevance of nutrition for the physical and mental health of older adults, emphasizing the importance of policies and interventions directed at this population. In addition, the analysis identifies predominant dietary patterns in older adults and proposes nutritional recommendations to improve well-being in this phase of life. In view of the above, this study aims to provide a solid theoretical basis for understanding and promoting healthy and fulfilling aging, contributing to the formulation of future strategies and policies aimed at the well-being of older adults and the improvement of their quality of life.
