Abstract

Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction is a common intervention in patients with knee ligament injuries, aiming to restore joint stability and function. This article reviews minimally invasive approaches to ACL reconstruction, analyzing their effectiveness, safety, and future prospects. The methodology included an integrative literature review, using scientific databases and specific inclusion criteria. The results highlight the effectiveness of minimally invasive approaches in restoring knee stability, emphasizing the importance of treatment personalization and a multidisciplinary approach. Discussions address gaps in knowledge and the need for more research to improve existing techniques and identify new strategies. Final considerations highlight the importance of innovation and multidisciplinary collaboration to optimize results in ACL reconstruction. This study offers valuable insights for orthopedic surgeons and healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of knee ligament injuries, outlining future directions for clinical practice and research in this area.
