LEGAL SPHERE: CONFLICTS AND PERSPECTIVES OF AI TECHNOLOGIES (ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE) A THREAT OR HELP TO HUMAN BEINGS

Abstract

This article is a reflection on the topic of the Legal Sphere: Conflicts and Perspectives on Artificial Intelligence Technologies – Will It Be a Threat or Help to Human Beings. This study aims to investigate artificial intelligence from a legal point of view, expose all the challenges that are being faced, and really understand whether it is a threat or a contribution to individuals in general. To substantiate this problem, we will include in our research the thoughts and theories studied by Zigmunt Bauman. To achieve the proposed objectives, we will use the bibliographic review methodology, that is, a qualitative study of scientific publications in periodicals, books and others. We will consolidate not only the simple transcription of information, but we will build a bridge between the research objectives and the ideas of the authors selected for the study. We will use the application of the concepts discovered by Bauman, along with the analysis of what we are experiencing today regarding artificial technologies, social networks and global capitalism. The modern world is getting faster and faster and we need to check if we have the legal weapons to face the future that awaits us. We conclude that it is becoming increasingly essential for the Brazilian Justice to be concerned with the innovation of civil law, creating laws that understand the protection of rights, and that compensate for the possible losses that ordinary citizens may face with all the different technologies that are being created. and that they are increasingly invading our private lives, and that we have no control over stopping this advance. Against such threats, it is essential that we are equipped with legal tools that do not yet exist, and that must be elaborated and effectively created for a future that is very near.
