This study reviews the current literature on neuropsychomotor development in childhood, focusing on contemporary assessments and effective interventions. Early detection of developmental delays is critical to ensuring timely and effective interventions. Multidisciplinary approaches, involving health professionals and educators, are essential to maximize therapeutic results. Furthermore, early and continuous intervention throughout a child's development is crucial to promote healthy neuropsychomotor development. However, challenges persist in implementing and coordinating interventions, highlighting the need for more research and collaboration to improve clinical practices and the quality of child health care.
