CHARACTERIZATION OF ECLAMPSIA IN PATIENTS WHO APPEARED AT THE CELA GENERAL HOSPITAL 2021/2022

Abstract

In the present work, an approach was made about the care that should be given to patients with eclampsia. Preeclampsia is a multifactorial and multisystemic disease, specific to pregnancy, classically diagnosed by the presence of arterial hypertension associated with proteinuria, which manifests itself in a previously normotensive pregnant woman, after the 20th week of gestation. The present investigation arises as a necessity for the preparation of the end-of-course work, aiming at obtaining the degree of medium technician in general nursing with the regulation in force at the Nucleus of the Technical Institute of Health of Cela; To study the behavior of Eclampsia in patients hospitalized with a diagnosis of Eclampsia at the Hospital Geral da Cela from December 2021 to April 2022.being carried out through bibliographic research and field work to collect data with a sample of 30 pregnant women; The methods used were, Mathematical, theoretical and empirical methods; The epidemiological clinical profile was characterized by young women between 14 and 30 years of age, with lower income, and mostly students, who ignore prenatal consultations.
