Hepatitis B and C are infections that mainly affect the liver and are classified as mild, moderate or severe. The disease must be diagnosed early for treatment to be effective, and preventive measures must be followed to reduce transmissibility. Thus, through a descriptive observational epidemiological study, the notifications registered on the DATASUS online platform in Brazil from 2016 to 2020 will be analyzed in pregnant women contaminated by Hepatitis B and C, aiming to analyze the regions of notification, age group, probable source of contamination and the clinical form in which the patients were diagnosed so that measures can be taken to reduce the rates of contamination so recurrent nationwide. This study showed that in Brazil, the predominant pregnant women affected were those aged between 40 and 59, mainly infected with Hepatitis C, mostly with the chronic clinical form and the probable source of contamination was sexual, in both types of hepatitis studied.
