THE IMPORTANCE OF THE ROLE OF THE PSYCHOPEDAGOGY PROFESSIONAL IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

It is almost impossible to deny the importance of a professional when he or she makes himself available to the teaching-learning process. Psychopedagogy, in turn, has proven itself vehemently nowadays, because in line with educational institutions, the work of the psychopedagogue has helped with the difficulties and development of children in their daily lives. With this, the following problem arises: How important is the role of the Psychopedagogy professional in educational institutions? To discuss this problem, this work had the general objective of discussing the importance of the role of the psychopedagogue in educational institutions. The methodological process was based on action research, being bibliographic and field within a qualitative approach in which a structured questionnaire was constructed, using Google forms, containing four subjective questions, directed to three psychopedagogues seeking to discuss the importance of this professional within the school. The theorists referenced for the construction of the research were: BOSSA (2007); SAMPAIO; TIMBÓ (2019); BRAZIL; FILIPE (2020); MANSINI (2006), among others. The study showed that educational psychologists, after completing their postgraduate studies in Psychopedagogy, realized that educators themselves need, above all, an inclusive look focused on the real and significant development of children, especially those who need specialized monitoring to its growth as a social subject. It is concluded that it is clear how important the Psychopedagogy professional is to the school community, as everyone has the right to learn and must be included in the learning process.
