Abstract

The present study concerns the use of antidepressants in adolescence as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, highlighting potential psychological and emotional impacts and describing the outcomes of medication consumption by adolescents. The methodology employed for the study involved gathering data from scientific articles, electronic and printed journals, newspapers, and books that have previously addressed relevant topics. In essence, the use of medications is crucial in treatment, but it may expose the user to adverse events and drug interactions.
