The objective of this approach is to effectively demonstrate the importance of the pharmacist's role in the care line, in multidisciplinary teams within primary care. It is a challenge that requires an increasingly developed and balanced professional training to interact with the various activities in which he/she is involved regarding health promotion.Pharmaceutical care is of utmost importance in the care strategy, especially in primary health where events are welcomed in the first instance and where adherence to treatment can be decisive in the installed pathological condition. Pharmaceutical care seeks to act by ensuring competence and humanization in the relationship centered on the assisted. Broadening the concepts of the pharmacist's performance, unlinking from the central idea of logistical work, basing their actions, identifying difficulties, contextualizing results, emphasizing and recording advances, adhering to what reveals itself to be the main objectives of Primary Care. For the description of this article, references with trustworthy confidence from databases such as academic Google, bibliographic data, articles and theses were used.
