HOSPITAL PHARMACIST'S PERFORMANCE WITH EMPHASIS ON ORDINANCE 344

Abstract

This course conclusion work is a bibliographical review with the objective of discussing the importance of the generalist pharmacist in the hospital environment, demonstrating some functions performed by this professional, presenting the need to implement a management system focused on the organization and interaction with the multidisciplinary team. Within this theme, the work also discusses Ordinance 344, considering that one of the functions of the generalist hospital pharmacist is the control of medications, more precisely misoprostol, the discussion of the control of this medication will use the Mariana Bulhões maternity hospital as an example. Concluding that despite the different functions, the most important is that this professional fully assists patients in order to avoid errors that make their treatment unfeasible so that health promotion can occur.
