FIFO IMPLEMENTATION PROPOSAL IN STEEL COILS STOCK: CASE STUDY IN A COMPANY IN THE METALLURGICAL SEGMENT

Abstract

This work presentes the elements that constitute the structure of a scientific article, with the objective of finding solutions, for the forms of storage of products and raw materials stored within the company’s stocks. The proposal that the work brings, and the improvements ,to manage inventory , reduce the company’s cost ans the methodology,FIFO or PEPS ( First in ,First out) and control the const that inventory generates,which aims to carry out the control,entry and exit of products,raw material that will be able to establish,control of the movement of products ,within stock ,which will be the First piece or raw material, to enter stock,will be the First to leave stock and whith avoiding oxidation of finished products ,avoiding rework or Chemical treatment in finished products, that can cause the product,the  methodology Applied is based on studies ando f a qualitative nature ,based on academic research ,to expand knowledge achieve the goal of reducing inventory costs.
