The objective of this study was to estimate the effect of ECC on reproductive parameters of Bos indicus cows submitted to TAI. Data from farms located in the state of Mato Grosso were evaluated. The animals were examined for BCS (scale 1-5) and matched with follicular dynamics and fertility data obtained using the IATF synchronization protocol. To assess fertility, ultrasound examinations were performed on the day of pregnancy diagnosis (D40). It was observed that cows with a score between 3 and 3.75 obtained the best pregnancy results (60%; 62%; 61%; 60%), showing that the body condition score can influence the pregnancy rate, the scores different from those previously mentioned, confirm the initial objective of the work, however, more research must be carried out with a larger sample of lots. It is concluded that low BCS is capable of affecting the reproductive patterns of Bos indicus cows, compromising the reproductive efficiency of these animals.
