Abstract

The theme of this work is about housing from the perspective of Human Rights, aiming to analyze the right to housing beyond the perception of a physical space to live. From this perspective, it is questioned whether the Human Rights vision is applied in judicialized cases, taking as an example the case of Monte Horebe, in the city of Manaus. This approach could be justified taking into account the historical context of the urbanization process in the Amazon context. Thus, it is hypothesized that, given the Constitution of the State of Amazonas, the application of Human Rights still presents itself as a gap to be consolidated in access to decent housing in the city of Manaus. The results seek to provide a comprehensive analysis both from a legal point of view and from the social dimension that the topic in question presents, and critically.
