PHARMACEUTICAL ATTENTION IN THE TREATMENT OF SKIN DISEASES: ATOPIC DERMATITIS

Abstract

The general objective of this work is to highlight the importance of the role of the pharmaceutical professional in the treatment of atopic dermatitis, presenting the best forms of treatment, aiming to improve adherence to treatment and minimize the negative impacts of diseases on patients' quality of life. This research is a review of the literature researched through scientific articles, in the Scielo database, Google Scholar, Pubmed and Lilacs. Researched from 2019 to 2023, and in Portuguese, with the topic of pharmaceutical care in atopic dermatitis. The pharmacist must be able to explain aspects of the disease and treatment to patients, offering individualized therapeutic education and a specific treatment plan for atopic dermatitis.
