Abstract

This bibliographic article aims to explore the epistemological conceptions of educational practice, focusing on understanding the foundations that support the teaching-learning process. Education is a complex area that involves multiple aspects, and understanding the epistemological concepts that underlie educational practice is essential to improve teaching methods and promote meaningful learning. Initially, key concepts related to epistemological concepts and educational practice are presented. Epistemology is the philosophical field that investigates the nature of knowledge and the way it is acquired, while educational practice refers to the strategies, methods and approaches used by educators to facilitate student learning. Next, the different epistemological foundations that influence educational practice are explored. Throughout the article, evidence and bibliographical references are presented that support the different epistemological conceptions of educational practice. This evidence includes research studies, educational theories and practical examples that illustrate how different epistemological conceptions can be applied in the educational context. In short, this bibliographic article highlights the importance of epistemological concepts in educational practice, providing a comprehensive view of the fundamentals that support the teaching-learning process. Understanding these foundations can contribute to improving educational practices, promoting more meaningful and enriching learning for students.
