PROTECTION OF CHILDREN'S SEXUAL DIGNITY IN THE INTRAFAMILY ENVIRONMENT

Abstract

The present study aimed to promote the protection of children's sexual dignity in the intra-family environment, aiming to prevent and combat sexual abuse and exploitation. This study was a descriptive research, with a qualitative approach, where the bibliographic survey was carried out over a period of time, from 2017 to 2023. This study brought a very significant doctrinal analysis, as it led us to reflect on the challenges faced in protecting the sexual dignity of children, in order to seek to demonstrate effective solutions and policies for prevention and intervention to support victims and their families. In conclusion, it was found that protecting the sexual dignity of children is everyone's responsibility. Family members, educators, health professionals, authorities and society as a whole must come together to prevent and combat sexual violence against children, guaranteeing them the basic right to live a healthy childhood free from abuse.
