This article sought to discuss how companies, in general, often operate in work environments marked by high competitiveness among employees and constant pressure to achieve proposed performance goals. However, to achieve these objectives, many use these prerogatives to denigrate and humiliate their co-workers. This behavior is commonly referred to as bullying or workplace harassment, which encompasses any action that aims to degrade and violate an individual's human dignity. This institute refers to any and all actions that aim to denigrate and significantly disrespect the victim. In the case of organizations, moral harassment is characterized by situations where the employee's autonomy is withdrawn; the overload resulting from new tasks imposed on employees, shouting at employees; and challenge, at all times, the employee's decisions, among other actions. All of them, in some way, have harmful consequences for the victims and can result in serious emotional and psychological damage.
