Abstract

It is indisputable that the construction industry has become one of the most important and collaborative activities for the growth and development of our cities. However, it is considered one of the sectors that most degrade the environment, as it demands excessive use of non-renewable natural resources, producing a high level of waste generation, thus making it difficult to dispose of it in preserved areas, vacant lots, public places, etc. ), causing negative impacts on the environment. Therefore, proper management of these is of utmost importance, so that there are minimal environmental impacts. Based on this premise, this work aims to discuss an analysis of construction waste in the state of São Paulo, focusing on the classification and disposal of waste, the situations of Brazilian regions, the quality indexes of waste landfills in the State of São Paulo , the actions carried out and in development, recycling and the benefits of waste management.
