Pejotization is a term used to describe a practice in which a worker formalizes their employment relationship as a legal entity (PJ) instead of being hired as a formal employee (CLT) or self-employed worker. The precariousness of work refers to the deterioration of working conditions and the reduction of workers' rights. Given these concepts, the present study aimed to analyze the phenomenon of pejotização and precarious employment relationships. It aimed to analyze the impact that these institutes have on the employment relationship and what their effects are. In methodology, it was a bibliographical review, based on selected scientific studies and jurisprudence, whose time frame was between 2018 and 2023 found in databases such as Scielo and Google Scholar. The results showed that pejotization can be used to avoid labor and social security costs, placing the worker in a more vulnerable position, without access to labor and social benefits, such as paid vacations, health insurance and other rights normally guaranteed to employees with a formal contract. signed. Precariousness, on the other hand, makes workers more vulnerable to exploitation and makes it difficult to guarantee an adequate standard of living. Both are social concerns as they can lead to greater inequality, worker exploitation, and economic instability for individuals and societies as a whole.
