This work analyzes conceptual and practical developments and remaining limitations, legal or political, in the global protection of human rights with the aim of highlighting the continued development of available instruments - core agreements - and the role of regional and human rights conferences. The methodology used is a bibliographic review based on research of texts, articles, theses and documents relevant to the topic of Human Rights, analyzed and selected through search platforms and Scielo, in the languages Portuguese, English and Spanish.
