This work had the following objectives: Talk about inclusion, from its initial state marked by omission and negligence in serving people with disabilities, both in the school and social spheres, reaching the present times in a period of intense discussions and criticism around inclusion referring to is the form of radical and systematic, total and unconditional insertion of each and every child into the common school system. Although the concept of inclusion can be reconciled with education for all and specialized teaching for the student, the option for this type of school insertion could not be carried out without facing important challenges, since the biggest of them falls on the factor human. Therefore, inclusion depends on changing society's values and experiencing a new paradigm that is not achieved with simple technical recommendations, as if they were ready-made recipes, but with reflections from teachers, principals, parents, students, community/society.
