Childbirth is a very important moment in women's lives, as this moment will mark their entire lives (subject, of course, to specificities). In addition, physiological childbirth is associated by many women as something that causes pain and suffering, however, there are several non pharmacological methods that help relieve pain during labor, offering a more comfortable and welcoming environment. The objective of this work is an approach to the various non pharmacological techniques that will provide the woman to go through all the phases of labor, minimizing the intrinsic physiological signs of this process. This is an integrative literature review, collecting information in the Google Scholar and SciELO databases. Research shows that these techniques offer significant results in reducing pain and anxiety, offering a more cozy environment, helping in the progress of labor.
