The article addresses the issue of violence suffered by transsexual women throughout history, elucidating the contexts and forms that have existed since the beginning of the constitution of society, consolidating and spreading to the present day, thus becoming something natural. This naturalization of violence impacts the physical and mental health of this population, leaving negative marks on their lives. Transsexuality still goes through the process of depathologization today, deconstructing this violence that society has disseminated for centuries. Psychology is a great ally in this process, generating changes in legislation and the transformation of concepts in order to break with prejudice against this population that is still marginalized and segregated today. The discussion on the subject raised here was supported by the analysis of literary content made available by various authors, which contributed to a better understanding of the topic. Based on the assumption that these women are in daily suffering, the authors intend, through this discussion, to contribute to the social deconstruction of the prejudice that establishes such suffering and to the inclusion of this population that still sees itself on the margins of society. Enabling meditation on the social and cultural role of society in relation to the narrative.
