Considering the countless different approaches used in the treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder, the main basis of this article is based. The logic consists of elucidating the effectiveness of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy in the treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder, through a bibliographical review, in which information such as: its emergence, its symptoms, its main characteristics cited by great scholars of the subject, the protocols used by CBT to treat this disorder, were further explored. With this in mind, the works chosen to compose the article had the criterion of having been published in the last five years as a way of providing the most recent information on the topic. Furthermore, the main books and articles on the subject were used as references. The importance of highlighting the effectiveness of CBT for the treatment of BPD, as well as its main ways of treating it, is what is expected from the results obtained in the research.
