Abstract

The evolution of information and communication technologies has transformed organizations, impacting their way of operating and competing in the market. Personal computers, the internet, mobile computing and e-business have revolutionized business practices, offering new opportunities and challenges. Technological advances and information systems are fundamental for companies to adapt and gain competitive advantage. Amazon is an example of business success driven by technological and strategic innovation, with its customer-centric business model and technology investments. The evolution of technologies and information systems transform the way organizations operate, compete and interact with customers. The adoption of innovative strategies, such as the Lean philosophy and the effective use of information technology, drives sustainability and business differentiation. In the ever-evolving scenario, companies must constantly adapt to technological changes to maintain their market culture. The approach method is inductive and the research technique is bibliographic. The purpose of the text is to provide relevant and up-to-date information for understanding the topic and to present an in-depth analysis on the subject.
