PUBLIC HEALTH IN BRAZIL: SUS AND HEALTH PROMOTION

Abstract

The objective of this study is to understand the SUS in public health, as a form of health promotion, based on a bibliographical review. METHODOLOGY: an exploratory, descriptive study was carried out, carried out through a bibliographic survey in the Google Scholar database and the journal portal of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), aiming to identify public policies that promote the health of the population. The following descriptors were used for the search: public health, SUS and health promotion, to achieve the proposed objectives. CONCLUSION: knowledge and access to information by the population are essential in the fight to guarantee rights already achieved and achieve new achievements in public health in Brazil.
