This article analyzes the posture of female empowerment in the representativeness of the character Carol Danvers – Captain Marvel, in the movie: Captain Marvel, with the specific objectives of verifying the unconscious-memory representativeness of the character – woman in contemporary society, in addition to finding out which phenomena of representation of the character – Captain Marvel contributes to the practicality of the modern woman. Based on theoretical contributions, the authors: Ferreira (2016); Freud (1976/2006); Mitchell (1979); Moscovici (2003); among others, who base their studies on the female figure and their social representative universe, highlighting the need to understand the representation process of these women. The methodology used is the bibliographical survey, in a qualitative approach, in a bibliographical research, giving the relevance of the research, the psychosocial contributions and its resignification of women's representativeness in society.
