SEXUAL VIOLENCE AGAINST CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS AND HUMAN RIGHTS ACTIONS

This article entitled “Sexual Violence against Children and Adolescents and Human Rights Actions”, has as its main objective to show an overview of the violence suffered by children and adolescents in Brazil. Bringing a context of this violence and the traumas caused in the lives of victims of this type of violence. This article will show the advances made to protect these victimized children and adolescents and the action of Human Rights within the above theme. Some government actions created to act in favor of victims of this violence will be addressed, as well as statistical data on this type of crime within the national territory. A brief study will also be made in the (ECA) “Statute of the Child and Adolescent”. Finally, some proposals will be pointed out to minimize this evil of an inhuman and destructive nature that persists in tarnishing the innocence and purity of Brazilian children and adolescents, as it is evidenced as the main result that sexual violence against children and adolescents has caused harm irreparable, with the public power having the responsibility to act energetically, with the objective of minimizing this type of offense, effectively applying the norms that already exist in our legal system, and society should also demand a more effective action from its rulers . The research method used was the bibliographical and documentary exploratory, making use of works on the subject, in addition to documents available on websites, thus using both the qualitative approach and the quantitative approach.
