According to the World Health Organization, Otitis Media (OM) is strongly considered a potentially serious disease due to the risks of complications that may occur in its evolution. Inflammation is commonly relevant nowadays, affecting countless adults, and may be associated with less favored populations. Among its effects, it can lead to irreversible aspects in humans, boosting a list of chronic problems from incorrect treatment or worsening of the tympanic membrane. In view of this, imaging tests are essential for the diagnosis and control of the disease.
