Introduction: The climacteric and menopause are natural phases of female life, characterized by hormonal changes and physical and emotional symptoms. Women's quality of life during this transition can be affected by several factors, such as level of education, practice of physical activities, depressive symptoms, and hormonal fluctuations. The WHOQOL-BREF Questionnaire is a validated and widely used tool to assess quality of life in different contexts, including climacteric and menopausal women. Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the quality of life of climacteric and menopausal women. Methodology: This was empirical research applied in the field of descriptive objective and quantitative approach where the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire was used to assess the quality of life of 92 women in the climacteric and menopause. Results: In the results obtained in the evaluation, no significant correlations were identified between quality of life, hormone replacement therapy, duration of menopause, and the age of the investigated volunteers. However, a positive correlation was observed between quality of life and regular physical activity. Conclusion: It was concluded that the evaluated volunteers presented a satisfactory quality of life, as assessed by the WHOQOL-bref questionnaire. It is believed that this result is attributed to the regular practice of physical activity by the investigated individuals.
