PUERPERAL CONSULTATION IN A HIGHLY VULNERABILITY HEALTH UNIT

Abstract

During the puerperium, psychological changes, postpartum infections, difficulty in managing the child may occur and the team needs to be attentive to provide the necessary support. Therefore, it is extremely important to describe how the puerperal nursing consultation is performed in a Health Unit with a Family Health program and from the point of view of a Nursing Student who works as a Nursing intern in a Health Unit in the municipality of Curitiba - PR. The Health Unit serves as a Family Health Strategy, as it is an area of high social vulnerability. Because it is a very delicate moment for women, with several hormonal and routine changes, it is important to praise the care actions with your baby in order to positively stimulate your maternity experience and form a good bond with the professional who serves you.
