THE ROLE OF THE NURSE IN CASES OF CARDIORESPIRATORY ARREST (CPA) IN ANGOLA

The present study aimed to evaluate the Role of the Nurse in cases of Cardiorespiratory Arrest in the Municipality of Cela. Following the methodology that best adapted at the conclusion of the work. Of the data collected, it was found that 71.4% (n=45) are of medium level, 3.2% (n=2) nurses have a bachelor's degree, 22.2% (n=14) licensed nurses and only 3.2% (n=2) of the nurses who have the postgraduate. 19% (n=12). Of the 68.2% (n=43) do not have a training in urgency and emergency first aid for cases of cardiorespiratory patients and 31.8% (20) of the nurses have a training in urgency and emergency first aid for cases of CRP.Of the nurse unwanted, 68.2% (n=43) claimed that they have been faced with cases of respiratory arrest in their workplaces and only 31.8% (n=20) nurses claimed that they have not come across cases of CRP.The nurses claimed that the application of the diagnosis of cases of cardiorespiratory arrest has been through physical examinations, clinical picture and complementary tests. 31.7% (n=20) of the nurses stressed that in order to deal with patients in cases of cardiorespiratory arrest, the clinical history should be known, request help, do cardiopulmonary resuscitation, ventilate, or keep defibrillator prepared, but other nurses claimed that when they come across these cases they transfer them to the General Hospital of the Cell.
