THE USE OF BOTULINUM TOXIN IN THE TREATMENT OF EARLY AGING AND IN THE INDIVIDUAL'S WELL-BEING

The general objective was to explore the use of botulinum toxin in the treatment of premature aging. The specific objectives were: to demonstrate the benefits or uselessness of Botulinumtoxin as a tool against premature aging. This is na integrative literature review study, with a descriptive character and a qualitative approach. The search for articles must be carried out in the data bases of the Virtual Health Library (VHL), National and International Institutions and online scientific journals - Bireme, presenting the search period between January and February 2022, in the data bases: Latin American and Carib bean Literature in Health Science (LILACS), Nursing Datab ases (BDENF), Online Scientific Electronic Library (SciELO). The abstracts were read and those that were relevant to support the discussion of the topic were selected and read in full. From this preliminary reading, 14 articles were selected that main tained coherence with the descriptors presented above and with the objectives of the study. Most oft heart icles brought to light the various aspects of the relevance of using Botulinum toxin in the treatment of premature aging.
