Acute abdomen can be defined as the presentation of typical symptoms such as pain and generally abdominal tenderness and almost always of rapid and severe evolution, with varying characteristics and clinical signs. In view of this, urgent diagnostic and therapeutic measures must be taken in order to minimize other risks to the patient. This case report shows a patient complaining of abdominal pain in the right hypochondrium with clinical signs and symptoms suggestive of ischemic acute abdomen according to imaging tests.
