Abstract

Botulinum Toxin is a protein of biological origin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum, approved by Anvisa (National Health Surveillance Agency) in 1992. It is a biological pharmaceutical product, that is, derived from a living organism that is currently widely used in the field of rejuvenation.
